Dr. Stephen Yuille,
Dr. Stephen Yuille and his family came to GCC in January 2009 from Peterborough, Canada. Stephen and his wife, Alison served the Lord as missionaries in Portugal from 1995 to 2000. Since returning to Canada, Stephen served as preaching elder at Braidwood Bible Chapel in Peterborough and taught at Toronto Baptist Seminary in Toronto. Dr. Yuille has a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from London School of Theology, Brunel University. He is the author of several books including "The Inner Sanctum of Puritan Piety: John Flavel's Doctrine of Mystical Union with Christ" (Reformation Heritage Books, 2007); "Puritan Spirituality: The Fear of God in the Affective Theology of George Swinnock" (Paternoster Press, 2008); and "Trading and Thriving in Godliness: The Piety of George Swinnock" (Reformation Heritage Books, 2008). Before coming to GCC, his wife Alison taught French at the local Christian school in Peterborough, Canada, and she is currently involved in the Grace Preschool. They have two daughters, Laura and Emma.
Pastor of Family Discipleship
Bryan joined the GCC staff in July of 2003. Bryan and his wife, Lara, were married in Colorado in September, 1999. Bryan and Lara had previously served together in Youth Ministry in Colorado, in Euless, Texas with Campus Crusade, and Happy Hill Farm in Glen Rose. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Administrative Management from the University of Arkansas and a Master's of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Now at GCC, Bryan frequently offers classes to encourage and equip parents, works alongside Chayce in the Student Ministry, serves as one of GCC's Care Group leaders, and oversees Grace Preschool, LLC and Grace Biblical Counseling, LLC. Lara also received her Master's Degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ministry-Based Evangelism & Christian Education. Both Bryan and Lara received certification as biblical counselors through NANC. They are both continuing their education in biblical counseling through The Institute for Nouthetic Studies. The Lord has blessed them with three wonderful children, Grace, Josiah, and Kira.
Pastor of Worship
Chris grew up in Oklahoma City, where he attended Southern Nazarene University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Religion. He discovered a call to worship-leading through his college years as his gifting in music united with his love for God. After serving on staff at Grace Covenant Church in Oklahoma City for 5 years, Chris joined the GCC staff in May of 2006. Chris serves as an assistant Care Group Leader and oversees worship and technical ministries. Chris and his wife, Shelly, have two daughters, Selah and Aliyah. Shelly has a degree in Music Education, and enjoys photography and singing. Chris has a desire to see God's people worship Him in spirit and in truth - maintaining cross-centered and biblical content, coupled with freedom of authentic expression.
Rick graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1989. He received a Master of Arts in Religious Education Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1995. Rick joined the GCC staff in August of 2005 after serving as a pastor for 9 years. Rick also serves as one of GCC's Care Group Leaders. Rick and his wife, Vicki, were married in May of 1995 and they have 3 children: Stacey Dale, Logan and Jordan. Vicki is a stay-at-home mom who homeschools Logan & Jordan.
Jonathan Martinez,Spanish Ministries Coordinator
Jonathan is a husband and father of 6 and counting. Having grown up in the U.S. since the age of 5 in 1972, he has been raised learning both English and Spanish. His desire is to be an instrument so others can hear the Gospel in their Spanish language that salvation might be available to all who hear.
Kody was born in Houston, Texas, and spent his childhood years growing up in Florida. During his last year of high school, he moved to San Jose, Costa Rica when he joined the US Army following graduation. During his last year of military service, he met and married his wife, Klare, while stationed in Germany. They have been married for 32 years and have three grown children and two grandchildren. Kody works at the Commandche Peak Nuclear Power plant as a Network Engineer, and Klare works from home with their cabin rental business. They have been a part of Grace Community Church from it's inception and care deeply about helping the Bride of Christ - His Church - become what Christ sets forth in the Scriptures. They both feel strongly about coming alongside the pastor and staff of GCC to help shepherd the flock and work to make His name known to this local expression of the body of Christ and abroad.
Randy grew up in Dallas and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973. He and his wife Alan were married in 1974 and have two grown children, Robert and Ellen, and four beautiful grandchildren. Randy is active in several charitable and civic organizations in Texas and two businesses: Darr Equipment Co. and USA Compression. Randy and Alan have attended Grace Community Church since its beginning.
Ike grew up on his family's dairy farm on the Brazos River in Hood County. After graduating from Granbury High School he went to Texas Tech on a football scholarship where he received a business finance degree in 1973. Ike, his father and three brothers started a turfgrass business, Thomas Bros Grass. He was a leader in the turfgrass industry for over 30 years and served on the Turfgrass Producers International board as President. Ike also co-founded several real estate developments. He has been active in Granbury Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce as well as serving 12 years on the board of GISD. Ike is currently involved with his sons, (Ryan and Justin) in the businesses Cresson Crossroads and Vista Sand. Ike has a passion for Christian schools and Biblical counseling. He and his wife, Trisha have been married since 1972. They live in Granbury and have two married sons and three grandchildren.
