Dr. Stephen Yuille
Originally from Ontario, Dr. Stephen Yuille, and his family, came to GCC in January 2009. Dr. Yuille completed his Ph.D. in historical theology at the London School of Theology. He has authored a number of books related to biblical studies and Christian piety, and serves as the associate professor of biblical spirituality at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. His wife, Alison, completed a Bachelor of Arts in Education, and teaches at GCC's Grace Preschool. They have two daughters, Laura and Emma.
Pastor of Family Discipleship/Elder
Bryan joined the GCC staff in July of 2003. Bryan and his wife, Lara, were married in Colorado in September, 1999. Bryan and Lara had previously served together in Youth Ministry in Colorado, in Euless, Texas with Campus Crusade, and Happy Hill Farm in Glen Rose. He received a Master's of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Now at GCC, Bryan is involved with various teaching and outreach ministries, serves as one of GCC's Care Group leaders, and oversees Grace Biblical Counseling, LLC. Lara also received her Master's Degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ministry-Based Evangelism & Christian Education. Both Bryan and Lara received certification as biblical counselors through ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). The Lord has blessed them with three wonderful children, Grace, Josiah, and Kira.
Pastor of Missions & Evangelism/elder
Yonathan was born and raised in the country of Chile and moved to the United States in 2005. He holds a Bachelors degree in English/Spanish translation from a university in Chile and a Master’s of Divinity with an emphasis in Apologetics from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife, Mika, earned a degree in International Business from Oklahoma Baptist University. They have two children, Isaac and Gabriela. Yonathan joined the GCC staff in early 2017 to minister to the Spanish-speaking community and oversee our evangelism and missions efforts.
Minister of Worship & Communication/Deacon
Chris grew up in Oklahoma City, where he attended Southern Nazarene University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Religion. After serving on staff with a church plant in Oklahoma City for 5 years, Chris joined the GCC staff in May of 2006. Chris serves as a Care Group Leader, manages the church's Resource Center and oversees music and technical ministries. Chris and his wife, Shelly, have two daughters, Selah and Aliyah. Shelly has a degree in Music Education and is a freelance photographer. Chris has a desire to see God's people worship Him in spirit and in truth - maintaining Gospel-centered and biblical content in songs, prayers, and readings, yet seeing all of life as worship.
Minister of Education & Administration/Deacon
Rick graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1989. He received a Master of Arts in Religious Education Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1995. Rick joined the GCC staff in August of 2005 after serving as a pastor for 9 years. Rick also serves as one of GCC's Care Group Leaders. Rick and his wife, Vicki, were married in May of 1995 and they have 3 children: Stacey Dale, Logan and Jordan.
Kody was born in Houston, Texas, and spent his childhood years growing up in Florida. During his last year of high school, he moved to San Jose, Costa Rica when he joined the US Army following graduation. During his last year of military service, he met and married his wife, Klare, while stationed in Germany. They have been married for 32 years and have three grown children and two grandchildren. Kody works at the Commanche Peak Nuclear Power plant as a Network Engineer, and Klare works from home with their cabin rental business. They have been a part of Grace Community Church from its inception and care deeply about helping the Bride of Christ - His Church - become what Christ sets forth in the Scriptures. They both feel strongly about coming alongside the pastor and staff of GCC to help shepherd the flock and work to make His name known to this local expression of the body of Christ and abroad.
Randy grew up in Dallas and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973. He and his wife Alan were married in 1974 and have two grown children, Robert and Ellen, and four beautiful grandchildren. Randy is active in several charitable and civic organizations in Texas and two businesses: Darr Equipment Co. and USA Compression. Randy and Alan have attended Grace Community Church since its beginning.
Ike grew up on his family's dairy farm on the Brazos River in Hood County. After graduating from Granbury High School he went to Texas Tech on a football scholarship where he received a business finance degree in 1973. Ike, his father and three brothers started a turfgrass business, Thomas Bros Grass. He was a leader in the turfgrass industry for over 30 years and served on the Turfgrass Producers International board as President. Ike also co-founded several real estate developments. Ike is currently involved with his sons, (Ryan and Justin) in the businesses Cresson Crossroads and Vista Sand. Ike has a passion for Christian schools and Biblical counseling. He and his wife, Trisha have been married since 1972. They live in Granbury and have two married sons and six grandchildren.
Gary was raised in Arlington and met his wife Barbara when he was 6 years old. They grew up living across the street from each other and were married in 1977. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Gary worked for Mrs Baird's Bakeries for 20 years taking care of the hunting ranch where they brought customers. He currently works for Flat Top Ranch as Wildlife Manager. Gary has always felt a need to serve abused and neglected children and is on the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for the Cross Timbers Area board of directors and He and Barb both serve as CASA advocates. They came to GCC in 2011.
